Trying to choose between a Tisas 1911 and a M&P 2.0. Looking for opinions

The 1911 is an outdated design that is less safe to carry in ready position than modern counterparts. Save the 1911 for range day or showing off, although I'd get a higher end 1911 rather than a brand known for using pot metal components.
