Fellow from Oz on the Colt Forum whose username is Tranter. Certainly there are several fellows there with Tranters in their collections.

Saw one in the Las Vegas Antique Arms show 2023. Lovely condition but certainly not cheap, $20,000 asking price.

The punchline is . . . Someone bought it.

(Thought not surprising, really. I've been on the lookout for a Bland in .577 for a very long time and they, generally, go for a pretty penny.)

Before 2023 a Belgian .577 revolver surfaced and resurfaced at Vegas Antique Arms Show. Last price tag was around $12,000.

Can't say that I tried that one, but checking it out now. I've checked Gunbroker, Simpsons, Guns International, Rock Island Auctions, et al. though. Thanks for the heads up on the venue.

Added another Tranter to my fold. A cased sheath trigger No. 2 in .30 caliber.

Webley RIC number 3 variation. In .442 caliber. Pleased with finish and action. This is the RIC with no ejection rod, not even in the base of the stock.
