I am picking up a DPMS SASS .308 tomorrow from one of the FFL's I use. While I obviously haven't shot the rifle yet, I have talked to a couple of folks who have or have shot DPMS .308's and while the consensus is that they are really nice rifles, the trigger can be lacking for precision shooting. Typical of most factory standard AR platform rifles.

I intend to give it a good test with the standard trigger, but if I decide I want to change to a better, lighter trigger (no lighter than 3 lbs.), does anyone have any recommendations based on experience? I know Timney makes a drop in AR10 trigger. Would this work with the DPMS? I'm kind of assuming it would, but wanted to make sure it wasn't specifically for the Armalite rifle. The pin hold placement on the receiver looks pretty standard.

Thanks. :s0155:
