It would work but I would need a oxy acetylene torch and I dont have one of those either haha

I used an inexpensive oxy-propane torch, just clean degrease use a white wet paste flux inside and outside threads and keep the flame moving around the brake.
Just use a small amount of 15% silver.
Rinse and brush all flux out. Inside and out.
