First of all, I am not ripping on anyone and I have blacked out his face. The point of this, is to simply ask if any one has seen this.
I was at my local rifle range, and I saw a guy shooting a fairly standard AR. However, it had three of the same looking red dot optics on the rail. It also had a smaller red dot on a 45 degree angle. I understand the idea of the 45 degree red dot, but I don't understand the 3 optics in a line.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to ask him.
Anyone know why or what the reason behind this is?

Well duh? You need at least two dots to line up right!

I think you guys are giving way too much benefit of the doubt here. There is ZERO reason to run 3 red dots on the same rifle.

Without an actual inquiry it looks like the guy who carries his motorcycle in the bed of his truck to show off ALL of his stuff, ALL of the time... he may be carting around a trailer w quads and/or snow machines too.

Seems weird but also likely all at the same time

And the ranch hand said, "You may interview the talking horse, but don't go near the sheep... they lie".

I was thinking, zero with can, zero without can, zero subsonic. I'm guessing the rearmost and the offset are the ones he uses most often. I don't know why he's doing it, but if it's working for him. . .
