Neat! Is this a dedicated .22 or a .45 with a Ceiner/Atchison kit?
This was made on Auto Ordnance Thompson equipment in West Hurley NY & is very rare. They were expensive .22 LR military type rifles during the age of expensive bolt guns (Anschutz, etc.) & Ruger 10/22s.

Nice little list of quality rimfire sporters there, you seemed to have missed an Anschutz 54 sporter, Walther KKJ, and Kleinguenther K22 though.

Glad I got to see pictures of this Thompson after you told me about it, these are very rare and collectable. I have only seen one other one posted on the internet before. It was on RFC and was in a members phenomenal collection of obscure and rare rimfires before he unfortunately passed.
