Wife and I are camping this weekend, never leave home without our mini Blackstone grill. Philly cheesesteaks tonight, might post a pic of the money shot later, possibly even a picture of dinner :p

Used a Weber Kettle at home for decades. Then; got a Weber Smokey Joe for a camping trip. The Smokey Joe became my one-and-only in the camp, and at home, for even more decades. It works great and takes way less fuel.

II finally succumbed to a natural gas Weber Spirit grill for the home patio. Smokey Joe is still here for a backup and the very rare road trip.

I barely grill any more. The two I have sit under their covers. I still do potatoes and corn on the grill.
While I miss the taste of char, I braise most of my meats. Steaks go in the oven until their internal temp is ~110°F, then I'll pan fry it in spices. Ribs get spice rubbed, wrapped in foil and braised. BBQ sauce is applied after ~3 hours. It's falling off the bone, melt in your mouth succulence after cooking that way. For the last decade, I have only done my fish by pan searing.
