Thanks again!
The guns shown belong to me and a friend of mine.
We have about 30 or so antique firearms that we display and some we shoot.
If we are at a event we let you handle and even shoot some , if possible.

Neither is worth a hoot.... No ram rod or flint / percussion ignition.
We all should know that the breech loading self contained cartridge is a passing fad that will never catch on.
:eek::p:D

Just kidding.

Is this debate or others of its type still a big thing?
Why does it matter if someone likes a different gun than you?
Can they:
Shoot it well
Shoot it safely
Then if so ... Let 'em be.
Andy

Amen Andy. I really don't care what another man shoots, as long is it fits into the criteria you described.
The only thing I might add to it, if I may take the liberty, is that if the rifle is used for hunting, that the round be capable of doing it's job as cleanly and ethically as possible.

So very true ... And something I should have said.
We owe the animal we hunt a quick , clean death along with our respect and thanks.
