Our priority is to get the already overdue U-Haul unloaded/cleaned and returned by Monday then start looking for an RV to live in for 2-3 months while the new mobile home is built and installed along with a septic system. ;)

Glad to hear you made it down there safe and it sounds like you are excited to start the new chapter!

no rest for the wicked
I bet your exhausted!

If I could do any wording then I would have that saying tattooed around my collar but the wife isn't having any of it…

She rarely says no to most of my ideas so when she says no I gotta give her the win lol.

Hang in there! Sanity awaits ;)

Was hotter than Hadies the last two days here and LHM I was still able to get the U-Haul unloaded/get stuff done. Got one unit equipped with a 12" vent as low as I could go on the front door and a 10" fan up high on the back.
Was able to find a 10x20' storage unit close by just in case the thunderstorms blow down my portable garage carport for overflow…
30SPF sunblock does not work in July/August… :eek:

You certainly didn't pick the time of year to ease into the heat.

Lots of pickles for the electrolytes, cold beer, get swamp coolers and misters set up in the shade with a good rocking chair.

Get some good UVA/B blocking and wicking long sleeve shirts in light colors and light colored and weight pants. Neck gators (the stretchy kind) and wet them down with cold water and enjoy the evaporation (assuming it's not so humid that doesn't help much.

Oh, and buy this in bulk :D ;) !

Edit: you can now go to Walmart in a tutu and crop top to blend in:eek::p

Down here I've figured out that I need to pick my days when I've got work to do, like I have been doing installing vents and fans in HELL BOXES. Thank goodness I didn't put my two big construction fans on the moving truck, could be 21+ days till it arrives here in sunny Florida. They have saved my bacon once again!!!
Today was a welcome change in weather conditions so I decided that my "day off" was a good time to Git-r-Done.
Finished off both containers and just need to install one power cable for the one we jury rigged for the fan the other day.
Did I mention that all this heat has taken at least an inch off my waist/belt? Been drinkin water like it's goin out of style. :D

They are both ready to get filled up with our stuff. ;)

Our new priorities are to choose the new mobile home and find a TT/5th wheel to live in till it's built and installed. Optimal situation would be to find a model that's on the lot then it'll only be a few weeks… :s0053::s0053::s0053:
