The Northwest is losing a great fisherman ya' know? I can't envy you, but I am definitely hoping that this new place will be a great thing for your old cold bones. And I'm DAMNED GLAD that we had that opportunity to get out on the water and fish together. I forget a lot of things these days, but I'm never forgetting that day, your ways, and handling your boat!

Just topped off the UHAUL and stopped at Cappy's restaurant in Rawlins Wyoming. Too tired to get to Laramie or Cheyenne after 1 1/2 hours of construction slowdowns!!!
Going to crash at the rest area east of there for the night and hopefully get a really early start for a long driving day tomorrow.

I've gotten gas in Rawlins.
How many miles done?
How many to go?

Love to see photos along the way . :)
There ain't much in Wyoming to see except flat, tan/brown once you leave West/western Wyoming. And looks like a thousand miles or so of the same brown after that. Coming from the Salt Lake area I remember trips to Denver. I remember getting the creeps looking East and seeing absolutely nothing but FLAT.

4 more days?
2.4 days, have a 2 hour stop in Arkansas to make so will be Saturday around noon.

Well folks, I knew it was bound to happen, I am mentally fatigued and could not concentrate on driving today, was only able to drive less than 200 miles.:(
Depending on how I feeling tomorrow morning, we may stay another day in Platte City, Mo.
