Well folks, the sale was a great success, we sold 6 tables of stuff that had been taking up a 24x30' (1/2 of my 30x48' shop) space for many years.
Next weekend I'm gonna have a "Man's Shop Moving sale!!! I'll be going through the back 1/2 of the shop sorting automotive, woodworking and basic shop stuff.

You all are invited to attend.
Congratulations, Jim!
Happy for you and sad to see you leaving all at the same time.

Just wrote a check for the well digger, pleased with the video's he supplied.

Well boys and girls it's crunch time at the caveman cave, a 53 foot semi will show up on the ninth or 10th of July to pack our worldly belongings.
They will actually load my rental truck that I will tow the wife's car with. Bonus!!!

You serve as an inspiration to many of us, that share the dream of GTHOOWA. I will try to drag Susie to Lewiston, ID this week to see if it might be possible to convince her to make the move. We don't know anyone there, but it is within 2.5 hours drive of our present location where our 3 boys reside. Maybe the proximity of the Clearwater and Snake rivers can help persuade her. 🤞

My missus actually stated the other day that after her father passes, she's done with this state. There's hope!

Five years ago that was my initial intentions in that same area but then I realized that it would not fit my purpose, I'd still be in the cold climate.

Good luck with your trip brother.

Well boys and girls, our worldly possessions are on there way, eventually to Florida.
We solemnly approached the end of our driveway, I took a pic of the loaded UHaul in the foreground (yes I black and white) of our home for 30+ years and was sad that we wouldn't get a chance today to say goodbye to our granddaughters due to their parents being late for the occasion and we needed to get a shower and a good nights sleep at the local motel for our departure in the morning. As we sadly pulled out onto the road to Elma, they passed by us frantically waving for us to return.
We stayed for 2 more hours, hugs, kisses, tears and a promise to them that we would return to take them fishing next summer or even a surprise Christmas visit from Caveman Santa.
