This article is fairly long but well worth the read. It was written after Aurora but before this week.

I disagree with some of the finer points like high capacity magazine bans, 'it can't happen here' -tyranny and his conclusions about training for CC; however, the meat of the article is quite balanced. He clearly comes from an anti-gun background but at least has some concessions for us who choose CC.
