I have a Taurus M94 .22Lr revolver with a 4" barrel that I bought for plinking. Its a fun little gun and reasonably accurate, but the DA trigger pull is horrible. As a kid I had cap guns with smoother triggers. Its way too heavy and gritty. Is there an easy fix for this?
You can dump all the parts out of it and start honing. A bit of polishing on the rough spots of the bearing surfaces were the pieces mate will go a long way toward smoothing things up. Alot of Taurus guts are just plain rough and need some carefully applied T.L.C.
