That is a line item on my property tax bill every year. Yesterday, I saw some wet spots and mud in the road in front of my place. There is a ditch out there, with two concrete culverts under spots were access to my property is required. I noticed that the county had come by with one of those big water tank and pressure nozzle trucks. They blew out the culverts. Access to one is completely blocked by salal bushes, but they got into it. First time in 37 years this has happened. I know, because I'm out there all the time and I shovel debris out of the mouth of the one with good access. If you count up the annual charges on the tax bills over the course of 37 years, this is a very expensive service for one treatment.
