I finally got a camcorder to the range so I could test my suppressed Ruger against my air pistol. While the air pistol had the edge on noise, the Ruger beat the air pistol on power, rate of fire and just plain fun.

Very nice! I have a MkII with an integral suppressor made by KKM. The barrel is ported, which causes a lot of lead buildup in the expansion chamber. Its super quiet, but sometimes I wish the ports werent there. Nice job!

Now take out a bolt action .22 vs an air pistol. My 10/22 is quieter except for the house of the slide and you can even hear e bullet fragmenting it's so quiet.

My pump action suppressed Winchester 1906 is the quietest gun I own, the Savage MK2 is a close second but both put the Ruger MK2 to shame as far as noise goes. The 1906 is a pain because the can has to be removed to take out the mag tube.
