This will always be the best Super Bowl commercial ever. I saw it the one time it was broadcast during SB XXXVI.

I've probably watched 5 minutes of football and basketball in my life, didn't watch.

I refuse to watch (or hero worship) people who get paid millions of dollars.... to play a game.

Now if you were to put some weapons, armor, fire, and large carnivorous wild animals into the mix to where only MEN would prevail... I'm there!

Things have returned to normal in Philly.

Two men were gunned down as more than 40 shots were fired in a double homicide on the edge of Northeast Philadelphia early Monday morning, investigators said.

Philadelphia police officers rushed to the intersection of Claridge Street and Adams Avenue in the Crescentville neighborhood around 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 10, 2025, to find a 32-year-old in the driver's seat of a Jeep with gunshot wounds to his body and head and a unidentified man on the ground next to the passenger side of the SUV who was also shot, Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said.

Medics pronounced each man dead on the scene, Small said.

More than 40 shots were fired from at least two separate semiautomatic guns, Small said. At least 20 shots were fired into the bullet-riddled Jeep -- many through the windshield, Small said.

Hard to believe my compadre's here actually watch a halftime show like that? But I didn't know Gaga was on? Half time shows have been crap for years. I did check in to see just how bad it was and couldn't seem to get away from the saggy-pant crotch-grabber. Producers must think no one over 25-30 watches these things.
One thing I did note was commercial time at Super Bowl costs $8,000,000.00 per 30 seconds. I noticed Fred Meyer ponied up $8,000,000.00. At least once.

I guess that story kept them from reporting all the "Happy" game watchers burning a looting around the city? Guess it's lucky for The Eagles that they didn't have to play a team that showed up.

Lady GAGA was better than the rest of the performers who were all terrible.

But I didn't know Gaga was on?
I didn't see Gaga yesterday either. I'm not a fan but would have preferred her over anything/everything else I saw during the halftime performance. Maybe she was dressed up and I didn't recognize her. She is quite odd and can wear some really offbeat attire.

I wasn't aware of who was even playing in the game until now. I spent the afternoon risking my life taking the last of our spawn out for her second driving lesson, followed by a church service to thank the Lord the Jeep and us made it back home unscathed. Fun times............ Now that the stupid ball game is over can we get on with spring? I'm sick of this cold weather, I've got two rifles to sight in!

Personally I watched Pakistani Truck Repair on YouTube. :)

What's this about a, "black national anthem" ? o_O
Really ?
I guess I'm missing out by not watching TV and only
reading the comics in our leftist rag.

NFL, pro sports etc. all of it is essentially 'accepted' organized crime because there is no violence, it has become a popular and traditional 'nationwide' pastime for so many and makes a lot of companies and people rich but it has very deep, dark secrets....

Biggest problem is stadiums where pro sports are played should be funded BY the sports organization who uses it and NOT by the city/count/state where they are located.

I think they make the halftime show really crappy so that the game will look better. :s0153:

Super Bowl LIX, should have been named, Super Bowl SUX ! 🤔

And… Who thought having all the players stand around like so many pillars of poo for kickoffs was a good idea? :s0092:
