Stuck case

If you want to save yourself the trouble next time, you can send it in to RCBS with $5 for return shipping and they'll pop out the stuck case. They'll also polish it up if it looks like the die was scratched and replace the decap unit if it was damaged.

Why not just drop the round head bolt into a slightly oversized drilled hole from the inside of the case and use the same socket/washer/nut combo to pull it?

Probably depends on the type of sizing die configuration.

A few of my sizing dies have stems that you have to remove out the bottom of the die, the threaded stem is smaller than the sizing "ball," no way to remove it out the top...
