my grandpa had one similar when i was a kid. it was much easier to see the row infront of you with it off set when youre cultivating. dunno if thats the reason or not but thats what i remember.

They were also made for use "Side Hilling"
Keeps the tractor from tipping.

I was there on Saturday. It was pretty sweet. Nice of them to allow free entry for the day. Not quite as big as the Great Oregon Steam-up but very enjoyable nonetheless. Beautiful, beautiful day.

"Drawing a lot of looks was a fully restored 1941 Co-op B2 tractor owned by Edna Holt of Tillamook.

According to Pat Cooper, who Holt calls her 'mentor,' the Co-op is "extremely rare." Holt's is the third one registered in the United States Co-op registry of only four known in existence."


Not sure if this is the Co-Op in question - from the news story.
