I never thought of this before. I'm guessing you would want the rod connected to the cable on the positive terminal?

No idea actually, haven't done it & do not weld...yet.

Folks were doing it at a class at one of the rallies I went to (Overland Expo), but I took some offhighway driving skills courses when that class was scheduled.

It may actually take a few batteries in series to accomplish...dunno.

Many don't realize that a "pencil lead" is not lead. But if you ever need a quick coating of graphite or graphite powder on something, there you have it.

Darn I was just planning on trying to do some reloading using a few pencils. Thanks for saving me some time.
