I'd eat it fish for a couple days myself.Don't do it.
You're better off cooking it, then freeze the cooked product.
Still not a great idea, just better than twice frozen raw.
I make excellent deep fried salmon/steelhead dishes called Salmon Nuggets and Steelhead Candy. A bright chum salmon is best for the Nuggets because they have a lot of oil in them already. And ya just gotta have hush puppies!!!Deep fried salmon !

At elk camp the other year we used a pesto kind of thrown together and it was on point ! I would throw some pepper flakes and maybe a little mustard just to make it pop next time .What do use for a dipping sauce ?
