@cigars started a thread in another forum that was turning into a "show your snubbies" and I thought I'd kind of redirect this thought here.
Recently I've been gravitating back to revolvers and have been enjoying them a lot.
This is the first gun my wife bought for herself. She's moved on to a small Glock and I pulled this one out of the safe to carry in my pack when dirt bike riding.

I've heard these things have pretty spicy recoil, any truth to that?

Its the thinness that eats into the web of the hand. If the grip was thicker it wouldn't be terrible. That grip sleeve makes it manageable. It was actually a fairly accurate pistol inside of 15 yards.

629 Talo heavy N-frame so it actually shot pretty reasonably! It's one that got away though...was traded up for a 29-2 6.5" barrel.
