Smith & Wesson .38 Military & Police (Postwar), Pre-Model 10, double-action revolver chambered in .38 Special. Revolver is built on the square butt, 5-screw K-frame, features a blued finish, 4" pinned barrel with half round front sight, fixed square notch rear sight, serrated trigger, fine checkered hammer, 6-shot fluted cylinder, and checkered walnut S&W wood grips with silver S&W medallion inserts. Metal, wood, and bore are all in very good condition. Revolver shows mild holster wear and has all matching numbers. Comes with a reproduction WWII leather holster.
Revolver is C&R eligible. Manufacture date is 1948.
