It would appear that the barrel finish does not match the frame.
Is this just the photo, or have parts of this gun been refinished?

The non relieved diamond center targets are early to mid 50's but a pre-28 would have a five screw frame which this one does not.

The pre-28 on a four screw frame was made for about three years. I have one.
