This is a very nice Smith and Wesson Highway Patrolman in 357 Magnum/38 Special. I believe it dates to the 1958-1959 era. It has the extra screw on the trigger guard, has an "S" prefix and serial number starts with 188. Has some Muzzle wear from a holster most likely but appears to have been carried way more than shot.
