  1. I have read and accept the classified system rules and terms of service.
This Model 10 is in great condition. No signs of wear except the cylinder line of course. Excellent lock up, original grips. $450

I'd consider partial trade for a p10c, or trade towards a sphinx, m2, or p236 x5. No interest in ar15s, rifles in general, or milsurp. 82D99918-3859-4FDA-8AC7-B21A741A3FAA.jpeg C8489727-89C2-451E-A6B5-19E37ECCF1DB.jpeg F1EE7F2D-1BFE-46F4-915E-3FDE9A9533EE.jpeg ED0C25EC-AED9-49E3-A7FD-632A14C0C6D1.jpeg F3892CF8-48E2-48E4-9F74-71A6FA43512A.jpeg

Nice! A decent .38sp, very clean- much nicer-looking than my "pre-model 10" model 10 "M&P" which has gone plum-brown over the years. These were once the main-stay of police holsters thru-out the country in pre 9mmP days. 10-5's were produced from 1962 thru late 1976. The Magna-style grips were introduced in the late '40's-early '50's. Being as "old" as it is, it has a pinned barrel and no MIM parts or locks. According to Chuck Hawks- "All Model 10's from 1958 to the present are suitable for use with .38 Special +P ammunition, as well as all standard pressure .38 Special loads". FWIW.
These were still fitted together by hand... Good luck on your sale, someone will be getting a primo Smith!:)

Thanks for the great info. Do you know when they stopped hand fitting?
