Up for your shopping pleasure is Smith and Wesson 36-1 in the venerable .38 Special. Also known as a "Chief's Special", the J frame is still considered by many to be the consummate concealed carry weapon. This gun has the 3" barrel which is a big upgrade the snubnose models, giving greater velocity and accuracy. This gun dates to approximately 1980 and comes with the original box and papers. Of all my Smiths this one has the slickest action and smoothest single action trigger. I bought it used and I suspect a gunsmith has gone through the action. I simply have too many J frames and this one needs a home where it won't be ignored. Buy it for the full price of $575 and I'll throw in a box of Federal range ammo. Buyer pays all transter fees and arranges a FFL to handle the transaction.
