Personally, I'd love to have a 551. Seems to be one of the earliest gas-pistol rifles in .223. Apperently they can be converted to the shorter Sig-Sauer model 552 commercially for around $2,500, but I'm sure it would be cheaper to do it yourself.

Hmmmmm a 551 like this?

I had this one for awhile, but found it too nose heavy.
They are good accurate rifles, very stable especially during rapid fire, and FA work. Easy to clean, as it's a piston system vs. a direct gas blow back (AR) style.

I have since sold it. and prefer the AR platform better.......

Had to keep you on the edge of your seat!

Kinda like the CSI show..........follow me around for a day, and you'd be bored to tears! Gotta keep it interesting to get people to watch...........and read my posts! :D
