Went to a Automotive swap meet on Sunday morning.
At breakfast my buddy shows me his new to him knife, a Kershaw.
Very cool and made right near here in Tualatin.

Wandering the show looking for doodads and go fast car parts we spot this in a case.
I asked to see it and Jake the buddy with the breakfast knife said it was the one he just showed me earlier.
The vendor said something was wrong with it and he would sell it to me for $20.
Done.

When leaving the show in the parking lot, Jake had the hood of his '55 Chevy open showing us something on it.
I pulled the engine dipstick and put a drop of the oil onto the hinge of the knife.
Working it into the hinge and now it works like a brand new knife.

I looked it up on the interwebs and it is a $200 knife.
Score!

I have issues.
We went to our favorite pawn shop on Saturday as we didn't want to be too early to the celebration of life we were headed too.

So I just bought the Kershaw knife shown a couple posts above.
At Capitol Pawn in Beaverton, they had the stiletto little brother to that one.
I had to have it, because it matched.

In order that I got them, all from the fantastic factory sale Kershaw does around Thanksgiving.
Launch 18, 16, 19, Iridium. A remnant and camp 5. The last 4 were all from the one in 2025. I would have preferred a pack mule to the camp 5, maybe they'll have them at the next one.

Oh I also picked up the 5 piece kitchen knife and block set they have. Haven't used them a ton, but it was a good deal.
