I find my self shelving most of my folders and strictly carry fixed blades now. Normally I carry 2 on my person. One IWB and one in my pocket. Nothing wrong with folders but I really enjoy working with /using a fixed blade.

I think about doing that once in a while but a 4" folder is sure more convenient than a 9" long fixed blade.

A big day for my eldest; his first knife! I designed what I think to be the perfect first knife for a kid, and he helped me in the shop to hammer it out. Now he's learning how to use and care for it.
