Hey I recognize that map! Here's the home page where the map is:
Much appreciated, Bill! I checked it out and came back with some trash too. Wish more people would pick up after themselves.Hey I recognize that map! Here's the home page where the map is:

The idea of that map is to help shooters find a spot near your home area and encourage them to keep it clean so we don't loose it. I try to add new spots from time to time, but I try not to post someone's secret honey hole. So, they're mostly well know spots that get a lot of use (means we gotta keep up with cleaning up!).
Thanks Bruce,
Bill
I'm thinkin I'll head up tomorrow and check condition of some spots. I never can simply drive through without picking up trash that make us look bad. Besides, I wanna see how my new 44 Special shoots. It's the Bulldog 2.5" barrel. I got some Special rounds and some 44 Russian rounds. Wanna feel the difference, if any.Much appreciated, Bill! Most definitely. We must take care of the land we use. Next time, I'll bring a garden rake with me.I'm thinkin I'll head up tomorrow and check condition of some spots. Rakes work good for the shotgun hulls. Then a releasing magnet really helps. Also a trash picker helps save the back from bending over so much. I also use a rolling magnet, dump onto a tarp, and funnel the hulls into the trash bag. Most definitely. We must take care of the land we use. Next time, I'll bring a garden rake with me.
If you're up there, I'll start out down at the bottom on the 412th/Skamania Mines Rd about 10 Am. DNR recently put up some large blocks on 5 of those those lower shooting spots. They're trying to curb the noise for the neighbors in that area.I think I'm off tomorrow.![]()
Yes, nice day up there today. I had a late start but got to see conditions and fire off that 44 Special. Also met some shooters who shared an AR15.Did some blasting, 50 degrees and no wind, had to take the second to highest spot as it was fairly busy for a Thursday. Get out and SHOOT.
