Best would be no CCW needed.
In fact, do they actually NEED a CCW? They are on private property.

Not sure about Ohio's laws but you're right; in many places if you're on private property a CCW isn't required.

Churches may also have legal loopholes to jump through (liability, if the building is rented, ect)

At the end of the day it's always a good idea to get training. While there can definitely be a discussion about the validity of permitting our Rights a proper training course can offer a lot of good information.

I am a former CHL instructor and always taught a variety of situations all the way from shoot/don't shoot scenarios, proper draw techniques, firearm retention, situational awareness, and de-escalation.

I don't believe we should have a permit system for our Rights.

I do believe a responsible citizen seeks continual education; on the law, on history, and on firearm handling.
