If you're on a progressive a lube die is a wonderful thing.
Now there's an idea. Hmmm... I have noticed that .50 BMG primers are the only ones available anywhere, still on the shelves at Cabela's, etc.. Prices are always high on those, but still less than panic prices on Gunbroker.Get a bigger primer.
Well, you ARE the master of experimentation! Now there's an idea. Hmmm... I have noticed that .50 BMG primers are the only ones available anywhere, still on the shelves at Cabela's, etc.. Prices are always high on those, but still less than panic prices on Gunbroker.
Maybe I should hone out some 9mm cases to take the big BMG primers. I wonder if I'd need to decrease the powder charge much (or if it would need powder at all).
I'm joking of course, lest anyone take me seriously.![]()
beginners who missed a couple essential points.
That is correct. Are you saying backward seated primer did NOT ignite main charge?
Pure gold. I don't care what year it was posted.Luckily it was my step mother who fired it.
That's what she saidNo photos, but my first time out with the Dillon 750 I had two primers that failed to seat because the primer slide got hung up and didn't advance. Dumped the powder charge all over the place, twice.
At least I now know what the handle feels like when there's no primer in the pocket!
. Yep went there sorry
