Just took in several hundred pounds of brass to Cherry City . It went up another 10 cents. So it is now $2.40 a pound
This is probably why:

"Copper extended its record-breaking run on Friday, as Citigroup became the latest to provide a bullish outlook on prices behind the narrative of an impending global supply shortage.

Futures on the London Metal Exchange rose as much as 2.2% to $11,705 a ton, surpassing the previous record high set earlier this week. The industrial metal has been ratcheting up in recent weeks as traders anticipate a supply squeeze caused by stockpiling in the US ahead of potential tariffs."

You could have made more if you would've answered me about selling me the 762 brass.
I dont scrap anything but unusable, 9mm and 223 the rest either gets sold on gunbroker or attempted to be sold /traded on here. I had a add up for months and nothing I put my adds up on gunbroker 8 days ago and 7 items have sold so far. Funny thing is between shipping, fees and taxes on gunbroker and I still sell way more on there .

Does Cherry City take the spent primers? I have about a gallon bucket full of those.
I can't speak for Cherry City, but I did sell a smaller bucket of spent primers for scrap at Far West Metals in Tualatin. It has been a year or two since the last time.

This may say something about the kind of money NWFA ads buyers are willing to part with. But there's another part of that, which is, when you buy on Gunbroker, the material gets delivered right to you. No fussing around with meet-ups, etc.
