Scored a Ruger 6mm Creedmoor today.

I've been in and out on field jobs lately. Finally had some time today to lurk my local favorite gun shops. Walked into my favorite shop this morning " Hooked On Toys in Wenatchee, WA" and they immediately shoved a Ruger American Predator in my hands. I saw "Creedmoor" on the tag and told them I already had one. They told me "No!" I took another look at the tag and it was a 6mm-Creedmoor!

I'll take it! They had the brass and ordered in a set of dies for me. Looking forward to shooting it. My 6.5 Ruger American was a solid 1/2 MOA performer.

Nice! Curious to see how you like it. I haven't done a lot of research on the 6mm CM but what I have read kind of suggested that it really isn't that much different than a 243.

It's just a little shorter than the .243 Winchester. Friendlier for long, high BC bullets fed from a Mag box or magazine on a short action rifle.
