I've shot a pile of rifles in my day but just got into my first big boy air rifle (UMAREX Gauntlet 2/ .25SL)
I've heard air rifles are hard on scopes cause of recoil. Does any know if it's the same with PCP air rifles or just the spring operating ones ?
I'm thinking about throwing an old VX-III tactical 3-10x40 on it. Kinda sentimental and world prefer not to destroy the scope even though Leupold would warranty it.
Any knowledge on this would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!!!
