What does "like new" mean exactly? How long have you had it and what shape is it in?

I have had it less then a year. It has only seen the range a few times. There are no scratches or scuffs. No ring marks either. It is clear and holds a zero. The reason I replaced it is I needed a scope with the tall target turrets.
