For sale: Schmitt-Rubin 1911, 7.5x55mm, built in 1916, refurbished by the Swiss in 1925, $400. Not import marked. Excellent condition with a mirror bright bore. Matching parts are receiver, bolt, front barrel band, rear barrel band, front sight, butt plate, trigger, stock, bolt knob, trigger guard, and magazine. Non-matching parts are the trigger spring, one bolt part, and rear sight. Unfortunately, some previous owner decided to electro-pencil his name and phone number on the receiver. The raised metal has been filed down and is now flush the receiver. It is still visible; only re-bluing would make it vanish. I am located in Salem.
