Scabbard for bullpups? Lightweight kydex "case"??

I've looked at the shorty shotgun scabbards, but without a lot of mods they just won't work with a bullpup rifle.

Any ideas?

I would also like to find or build some kind of lightweight and slim kydex case that would provide hard shell protection for my bullpups.

Any ideas on that?

Quick question, what are you useing the scabbard for? Might help with the ideas.

Kydex isn't my thing, but you can find some very slim guitar cases.

Kydex isn't my thing, but you can find some very slim guitar cases.

I want a slim and light hard case or scabbard to protect my bullpups (which are less than 30" long).

The purpose is protect the firearm during rough handling - not to camouflage it. I already have several soft cases, although one that would attach to a pack, like the Eberlestock scabbards do would be interesting.
