Really good Deer gun, its killed lots of them.. im getting rid of my savage 99 in 300 cal .with newer 4x12 bushnell trophy DOA scope. This gun shoots super nice but i have lots of other 300s and funds are low. It is one of the collector ones with a nice snubbull forearm. and yes it has the forged action and the brass counter on the side. I think 450.00 is a deal.
