I've always used @Velzey for gunsmithing but while he's is recovering, prayers always, I need someone to thread a Lee Enfield that has been converted to 45 ACP and takes 1911 mags. I read that Todd Koonce (possibly spelled wrong) has shut down. Anyone have a suggestion for this job?

He just did a job for me last week.....great work at a great price. He didn't mention anything about closing the doors
I'll call tomorrow but the good ole internet said closed the doors. Hoping he has not as I've heard great things about his work.

I'm having fun with my new suppressor and going through the gun safes looking for what to get threaded now. I think this 45 ACP bolt action would fit the bill great.

Not in Salem but there is a Gunsmith I take my stuff too in Lincoln City, does good work and pricing in my opinion quite affordable...

I checked today and gun crafters does do the barrel theading.
That's good to know, might have to use them as I called another local smith and they are appointment only and close at 5:00. I'd have to leave work early twice just to get it threaded.

I've got an old kit to turn an Enfield into a Delisle wannabee. Still sitting in its box a couple of decades later.
If you're not interested in using it, might consider selling it. My Delisle garners a lot of interest everywhere I take it and I routinely get offers for it. On that note, PM me if you are interested in selling or trading, I may be of interest in another, they are tons of fun.
