Can the digital key pads be opened by removing the key pad cutting the wires and reconnecting them a certian way. They seem easy access but are you giving up safty.

There is a second set of wires that activates the solenoid which pulls up the "Dead Man" bolt.
You have to know where to drill the hole, and then fish out that set of wires to activate it with the 9v battery.
I took the inside panel off and hot glued all of the wires tight against the metal door. Then I ran some metal duct tape over all of that.

Don't cut the red wire! Things always explode when you cut the red wire...

HA, That is pure misinformation. Everyone with a modicum of knowledge knows you have to cut the white ground wire or the charge will follow it and blow out the bottom of the safe.
Really some people are just so ignorant.

I've always wondered why the maker doesn't just use red wires for everything. The hero shows up in the nick of time to disarm the bomb and, "mother of God... they're all red... WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!"
