I've owned this gun for several years and it's time to let someone else enjoy it. It is, as the title says, a S&W .38 Double Action 3rd Model. The serial number range of this model is all before 1895, making it an antique.
The revolver is nickel plated and has a good bit of wear (as expected for 130 year old). The bore is pretty good, the lock up is good, the timing is fair. Ejector functions on break open, as it should. One side of the stocks are solid, the other is broken.
Like I said, this gun has just been sitting in my safe and needs to go to someone who will appreciate it. I am asking $200 cash or trade. I have no desire to ship this at the moment, it's become too much of a hassle. I would prefer to meet somewhere in the mid-willamette valley. Sweet Home, Lebanon, Albany, Corvallis.
