Finished this up today. Good thing about old standard models is they have a built in bolt lock . If you disable the safety where it engages the sear the bolt lock still keeps the bolt from moving with the safety up. Flick the safety lever up and it locks the bolt and keeps it from cycling but still allows the hammer to drop when the trigger is pulled. . This one being a copy of a Vietnam era MAC built Ruger standard model that MAC had set up the same way. Dont try this at home.
