Very nice Ruger #3 in 45-70
Rifle is the bicentennial model
Stock is tastefully stripped and refinished in Tung Oil, barrel band and butt plate are stripped/distressed. Finish is fresh parkerizing.... overall idea was to give it a vintage military look.
New rear sight, rifle is drilled and tapped for scope mounts
Very nice rifle, light and carries well...
Will handle everything from black powder loads to full power modern rounds...
Full disclaimer, the Only flaw is a blemish on the barrel, pitting really, but its been stripped and parkerized. See pics
Prices for these are across the board with some probably being WAAAAY over priced, in my opinion...
Looking at $875 for this one.
Ill throw in some ammo if I can find it... I have some soft reloads you can have for sure (consider for components of course as you would anyone elses reloads) Factory ammo too if I have it will be included but not guaranteed
Might consider trades for this too.
Something in 44mag sounds fun, long gun or pistol (no RBH though)
Maybe something in a trapdoor Springfield? Martini-Henry?
Lever gun???
