I have a RAR in 556 and have been using Lake City M855 and has worked well but...... I had some light primer strikes. Does the M855 have a primer that is that hard I had two light stikes out of 50 the other day. I was just curious if anyone else had had an issue and it is normal or is it time for a customer service call ?

This is a fairly common problem for bolt action 223/5.56 rifles. An AR-15 with a standard strength hammer spring hits with greater force. The margins for reliable ignition on hard primers seem to be much slimmer on bolt-actions.
