Though I'm in Newport from time to time, I don't recall ever visiting there, nor ever trying their booze anywhere. But I drop-kicked ethanol years ago, so could have simply forgotten.

My heart goes out to the folks out of a job due to their closure.

Is this for real? If so, it's a wonder they lasted as long as they did.
It would probably be a pretty good gig for a while. The $50k cap kills it for me.

Too many places want us IT guys to have all the experience, education and certifications under the sun, but only want to pay barely above minimum wage.

To be fair, you major job responsibility is asking people if they have tried turning it off and back on again

I thought $50k put you in the top 1% in Montana.

When a family friend was dying of cancer, he wanted to have one last beer with the guys. He chose dead guy ale. I'll have to go buy one in his memory.

Food and service always sucked, beer was ok
Went there one time. My buddy will cry, as Dead Guy is one of his favs, But I swear their service made McMenamins look fast. The food was ok, but like everything else, sooper expensive.

So, did they fold because they didn't charge enough, or because they had no customers due to the pricing?
