For some reason losing this great actor made me extra sad. They stated she had suffered from some horrible health problems. What a miserable way to go. :(

Trekkies may correct me on this, but I believe she portrayed the ditzy Secretary of "Mister Seven" on that episode of Star Trek. The one where the Enterprise is zapped back in time to a NASA liftoff.

Mister Seven became a spinoff series, but didn't last too long.

I knew nothing of her personal life, but she was a cutie in the movies and on talk shows.

I just cannot imagine her, so close to eighty.

May she REST IN PEACE.🙏

Her first significant role was on the original Star Trek series episode "Assignment: Earth" in which the U.S.S. Enterprise travels back in to 1968 Earth, where they encounter an interstellar agent planning to intervene in 20th-century events.

She also played Richard Dreyfuss' wife in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"

R.I.P. Teri Garr

According to our A.I. Overlords you are correct sir, "Yes, Teri Garr appeared in the Star Trek episode titled "Assignment: Earth," which was intended as a backdoor pilot for a potential new series. In the episode, she played the character Roberta Lincoln, a secretary who works for the mysterious agent Gary Seven. This episode, from the second season of the original Star Trek series, aired in 1968."
