Thin skinned, huge lungs. Not a particularly hard animal to put down.

Anything from .223 to a big magnum. Shoot what you have confidence in and know your limitations is the most important thing
 
30-06 works great but a bit overkill. I really enjoyed using my .257 Roberts. Milder recoil and not as loud.

Some guys like bigger rounds for shooting "way yonder". I don't because then you have to walk out "way yonder" and back.
 
Dad took his one antelope after waiting 10 years for a tag. With his Winchester model 1895 rifle in 30-40gov. Using a 150grain spire point took it at 155 paces it moved less then 10ft from the point of contact.
 
You ain't doing it right if you're not using a 50 BMG.
