Oregon's Indoor Clean Air Act, which banned smoking indoors in public places and workplaces, took effect on January 1, 2009. This included bars, restaurants, and other businesses that were previously exempt from the law. The ban also prohibited smoking within 10 feet of entrances, exits, and ventilation systems.I remember going to Shari's as a kid and there being smoking and non-smoking sections. I was explaining that to my nieces and nephews the other day and they were dumbfounded by the idea of smoking inside a restaurant. I think they stopped allowing smoking indoors in like 2004? Maybe someone older than me remembers exactly when Oregon banned it.

till I went first to see some a few of our friends. They claimed the same thing and especially taking it from a guy that I know for a long time that I hardly see him brush his teeth in the bowl of 10 years. Come on man......
