Izzy's had a food booth at the Oregon state Fair this year. they told me they were coming back. All the original Izzy's Pizza locations are gone. However, there is apparently a food truck named "Izzy's pizzas and a whole lot more"
LOL ! I remember this !used to go to Shakeys" Bunch of Lunch" years ago
Open in Eugene.Mazzi's .
Elmer's is at Valley River where the old McGrath"s used to be next to Valley River Inn.They bulldozed the Elmers down here and built a chick a filet. Pea paradise, put up a parking lot.
That's our breakfast spot after the wife does the Eugene Marathon. Have always gotten good service and quality meals there.Elmer's is at Valley River where the old McGrath"s used to be next to Valley River Inn.
I miss Burgerville, too. It's still here, but the food isn't what it once was and I don't go back.I miss Burgerville. Mainly because I'm in Ohio now, and they don't have those anywhere near here.
Yeah burgerville has slid downward. But apparently In N Out is migrating north, which will be cool.I miss Burgerville, too. It's still here, but the food isn't what it once was and I don't go back.
I had one In n Out burger a friend brought to me. It was good, but if the drive thru lines are as long as the one I see in Keizer, it ain't happenin.Yeah burgerville has slid downward. But apparently In N Out is migrating north, which will be cool.
The trick at in n out is to park your car and simply walk up. Last time I went, in west hollywood, the car line was couple hundred yards down the road. I waited about four minutes as a walk up.I had one In n Out burger a friend brought to me. It was good, but if the drive thru lines are as long as the one I see in Keizer, it ain't happenin.
For the money, Carl's Jr gets my vote.
I don't know what's going on with American burger meat, especially since covid, but it seems to be 50% filler. In-N-Out seems a little less affected.I agree, Burgerville is living on its legacy. Their food quality has slid far downhill. Their service has slid. But their prices are astronomical for fast food.
Carl's now gets my fast food business.
Depending on how bad you miss it they're still VERY popular in the Philippines and they have restaurants damn near everywhere there
Florence OR has one that still utilizes the menu on the poll and intercom ordering. Pluss inside seating.Drive up a&w with the little speakers and they bring you your food. Of course if they had those now in Portland you would have to endure that damn stinking smell of weed and rap music blasted for the whole neighborhood. So I guess coming back in a rural environment where there is more respect for others would be good. Wouldn't work on D lead commie shothole cities though. Probably get robbed to boot.
There is one in Oakridge that recently opened back up. I don't know if they're having trouble getting help or what, but when we were there about a week ago, we had to go inside to order. Might have been a temporary thing. A few weeks before that, it was like old times. Love those cheese curds, but I'm sure they're not very healthy for me.Drive up a&w with the little speakers and they bring you your food.
